The system won't let me do multiple likes for the same post. I would have done so. Great pictures. Great series.

Local shop got in some of the new ReraPan 400 and I was more than willing to give it a shot. A few thoughts:
  • It's generally assumed that it's not a new film stock, but rather an already existing one that's being recut & spooled for 127. That said, I've got no idea what it might. Dev times at 68F/20C are 8:00 for D-76 stock & 16:30 for Rodinal 1:50, which don't match up with anything I've spotted on the massive dev chart.
  • If you were previously shooting Bluefire Murano, don't use the spools from them for take-up. ReraPan is just a tiny bit wider than Bluefire and it won't fit onto their spools. Thankfully I had a few old Kodak ones kicking around.
  • The backing paper on ReraPan is much better than Bluefire's plastic backing. No light leaks around the edges of the frame on this, which was something I had on all of my Bluefire shots
It needed a bit more DoF in this shot, but it gives a good idea of what to expect from the film when dev'd in Rodinal.

Another 2009 workflow update. I don't keep up with gaming these days but I remember how exciting it was when Doom came out. But today, 10-years after the picture, I don't think the scene would look much different. Consoles are still common using the same controller interface. But go back 10-years from the picture and it was much different.
