Originally posted by goddo31 That makes sense. I also want to standardise on just a few films, however haven't settled on a 100 ISO film to replace the Fuji Acros yet.
Actually I was considering FP4+, just haven't gotten around to trying it out yet in 120. I would be happy to see some of your shots using the FP4+ when you're ready to post them. Also I will have a look around in case you have already posted some.
Did you pick up a stash of Acros before it was discontinued?
Last summer I went on a trip and took a whole bunch of different films just to get them shot up. The recent addition of my GX617 which only gets 4 frames per roll has really added to the number of rolls I come home with and need to develop. It makes for a lot more work when I have a bunch of different films and development times to process. I like to process my film in batches. It cuts down on the work and time. Hence the quest to reduce the number of films I shoot.
I think 400TMY looks a lot like 100TMX to me and with the flexibility of shooting it at either EI 400 or 100 with one film.

Here is FP4+ test shot I did for developing at N+1 (expand the tones some) for a grey, rainy day conditions.

Testing FP4+ with normal development and a high contrast condition to learn its range.
