Yeah, they're fun. I just hope it lasts. It seems there are gears and things that will have issues with a lot of use. I want to try it handhold. The camera has up to 1/500th shutter speed. That may sound fast but it take the lens slotted opening about an 1/8th of a second to sweep through its 127 degree FOV at that speed. Plus about another 1/8 second lag time as the lens rotates from it's parked location to the start of its recording. I'm curious to see how the dynamics of that works out.

Nice!
Thanks. No vignetting with the pano camera.

Another Evergreen Cemetery Series with PanF+. I think PanF does well in the fog.

This is not film, it's digital, for obvious reasons. Just finished my first roll of film in the ol' girl for twenty-plus years.

But will she remember you? Will things be the same? Will you still appreciate her look and feel, I wonder, after all these years.

It's like she's been waiting for me to rediscover her. Nothing has changed between us. And all the time I was setting up this shot I had Billy Joel's My Baby Grand stuck in my head.

Of course, it took a roll of film with a Nikomat FT2 to realize how well the old girl and I work together. Who in their right mind puts the shutter speed setting on the lens base????

Olympus

As weird as it is, though, I like the Nikkormat ergonomics better than the F3...

Maybe it’s just because they got the rest right...

The Rolleicord was just a handy subject with black to test some 2009 expired 320TXP in sheet film I have. It's been a while since I've shot Tri-X. I've forgot what it's like.

Working with PanF+ still. I stopped it down to f32 to see how close the focus would get. It looks like right up to the camera practically.

The grain in that first shot adds a lovely texture.
