Yeah, it was about $200 USD way back then. And I'm amazed how long the batteries last. I still use that calculator.

Guess what -- a clean HP 41CV is still gonna cost you about the same amount of money. Don't believe me, check out eBay. HP users and collectors are a hard core lot. Wish they weren't. I'd really like to replace an 11C that was stolen, but I just can't bring myself to spend almost twice what I paid for mine new for a clean replacement.

These days, to satisfy my RPN urges, I have 41CV and 11C apps that I run on my phone. They work just as well as the real thing. I do miss the tactile response, though.
