Okay thanks.

Ha! Ha! I know that sounds hokey, but the other options would be even stranger!

Not too strange. One thought I had was static while loading/developing the film or something. The streaks are much like the street light flare on the negative.

Regarding the photo in 9127, I'm not buying the explanations so far. Those "rays" are too organic looking to me. Each one has a different shape, some bending down, some even curving back upwards. An intriguing mystery.

Pier 11, South Street Esplanade, New York City

Ilford HP5+ 400 + Spotmatic II + SMC Takumar 55mm f/2.

It was dreary cold and wet day in February and I was working out of the Wall Street office right across from Pier 11 on South Street. I explored the block around the building and a section of the South Street Esplanade for about 30 minutes. Before I had the camera CLA'd in March, it had a faulty shutter. That explains the brightness on the right.

Must be the A50/1.2 and/or the film. It's a lab scan as well.

Thanks, Phil.
