Taking a portrait-orientation shot with a swing lens can be a bit of a gamble but I like how this one turned out.

Horizon 202.
Astrum Foto 200.

I'll probably post a few more from either this or the other roll I ran through it the other week once I've finished going through them.

That's a great one. I rarely use my Horizont vertically, the results tend to be a bit too funky.

I take a vertical shot probably once every few rolls and then never do anything with the results because yeah, way too funky. The lack of anything that it could distort too badly helped here.

I only used my Noblex 135U once this this year. I shot a entire roll handhold. And my finders ended up in the pictures. Horrible grips on the camera. After using this camera for a while, I've concluded the designer of the camera never used a camera before and sacrificed too much for aesthetics. The film rewind knob is an epic fail. If the designer would have actually loaded a roll of film in the camera and used it, s/he would have noticed the problem in the design.

The Horizon 202 at least keeps the bottom-mounted handle from the earlier Soviet Horizont, so keeping my left hand out of frame has never been a problem. But I've definitely taken unplanned photos of my right hand more than once.

A non-panoramic photo. I'd have liked a slightly deeper depth of field, but the film was expired enough that even a snail was too much movement on the longer exposures.

Ihagee Exa.
Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 5.8cm f2 on extension tubes.
Kodak Plus-X Pan (expired 1982-ish).

Steve
I was on an Antarctic expedition run by an Australian company that used this ship with a Russian crew. The ship was stopped as the ice was thick enough that we could just walk down the gangway and stand on the sea ice. We were able to shoot for around 30 minutes, before we had to leave or the ice would have trapped the ship. The ship was a class lower than an ice breaker, so it could go though ice pretty well, but it still was a tough slog out.

Thanks, Phil.
