Yeah, longer if you have to walk on the soft sand part due to tide conditions.

I would love to live in Port Angeles, the more I live and work in society the further away from it all I want to live. That seems like a pretty quiet corner of the world.

It use to be I could catch the Edmonds ferry across the sound and drive to coast going through Port Angles in easy mode. But now it's getting crowed in that area too and taking much longer to get past that area.

When I lived there, it was still pretty bucolic. The Hood Canal Bridge was still out and traffic through the town was mostly locals except for weekends in summer.
