The cheap(? I'm assuming) Vivitar lens produced a pretty wonderful vintage effect.

Though not all "Series 1" lenses that carry the badge are worthy of the label. Those that date to the Ponder & Best days of Vivitar, yes. Those that date from more recent times, less so.

If you can pull off the manufacturing in Seattle, you can avoid transportation risk. In Seattle, the police will not arrest selected type of people for possession of small amounts of drugs — heroin, meth and crack included. it was inexpensive although i ferget what i paid......it's the "stovepipe" and has a decent reputation.....generally does nice work when put to use and pairs nicely with the KSX & winder

The Vivitar Series 1 28-90 f2.8 Varifocal is actually a really nice lens with a rather distinctive look to the images, unusual for having a flat front element.
