Hum, the operator stands directly inline with the towing cable or rope under tension when doing its thing.

I noticed that small detail. "Ready for a little slap from behind?"

I guessing line dampeners are added maybe something like what off road vehicles do with their winch lines.

Or it's one of those "you only make this mistake once" sort of things...

Pentax ME Super, SMC Pentax 85mm f/1.8 lens, Adox HR-50 film. (Cross-posted with the K series lenses thread.)

I was interested to see that wide open the K85 gives a swirl not unlike that normally associated with Soviet lenses.

Pentax ZX-M, SMC-FA 35mm f/2, Arista EDU 200, lab processed and scanned. It started out just being a test roll to make sure the ZX worked, but ended up having the last photos that I took of my dog.

I got some sharper results from my Petri Color 35 with the second roll, I think. I like the look of what this camera produces.

@fs999, thank you for excellent photos and the useful recipes for the development in Caffenol. Generally most of them have a full range of gray values in the histogram for good contrast. Is this the range of gray values you directly get from the negative, or is there still an adjustment needed with the scanner or in Silverfast?

Thank you !

I used to tweak in Silverfast when the exposure wasn't correct.
But now I scan from nearly full range (5 to 250 I don't like totally black and white) and sometimes in iHDR mode then I adjust, when needed, the level in Paintshop Pro where I remove the dust spots.

This shot was tweaked in Silverfast :
