Thanks. I think the shoulder on Delta 3200 is interesting. If exposed well, it has the appearance of less grain in the scan than when I have to scrape the lower tones off the bottom of base + fog density of the film. A 2018 post where that is the case and where I feel grain is more noticable.

Okay, but still very acceptable in my opinion

Yeah I think so too. It's not that the developer produced finer than normal grain but rather the 6x9 format is where you start to get a lot more grain on the film to define the image for an equivalent FOV making it less noticeable for the scan size.

Nice shot with your K-1 DSLR, but this thread is for "film" b&w shots.

How did you develop it, your tonality is incredible and there is almost no grain!!!

Thanks. I developed it normally. My EI is 1600 with PMK Pyro. I dunno, my take is you see less grain because it's almost like looking a scan of sheet film. You don't see any grain of a well exposed and scanned 400 film in that large format because there is so much grain there. More grain also aids tonality because there is more of it to define the image.

Here are some Delta 3200 on a larger 6x17cm format image with even more grain per image.

The difference between my normal 400 T-Max and Delta 100 development times is 1-minute with this developer. I had one of each to develop so I just split the difference and developed them both at the same time.
