Look at:
Pentax LX - Manual Focus Film SLRs - Pentax Camera Reviews - DSLR and Film SLR Database

where you will find some price range.

Hope that the comment may help.

Pretty sure you would get 200 for that without too much trouble.

The camera looks lovely. The lens was well respected in the 80s.

Fix and keep it. If 200 pounds would turn you a profit you made a wonderful purchase. The camera is a joy to use and is likely to appreciate.

Assuming you have a roll (or 2) of 35mm B/W silver halide film (such as Kodak Tri-X), some envelopes of Kodak D76 developer in powder, white vinegar (a stop bath in addition to being and ingredient to prepare food), a small 1-reel 35mm development tank, a Kodak Photo Data Guide, some river (or rain) water and of course, a working Pentax LX with any Pentax K, M or A lens (specially a 50 mm f1.2 to f2.0) you are still in business even in a desert island.

On this desert island, what sort of tree sap are you using as fixer?

Does the date/data back print in the image frame or in the spare space on the neg?

I've seen some cameras do this and have an unnecessary desire for it.

No the databack does not print in between. It shows it on the bottom left side within the frame. It is also can only show the years between 80 - 91 although the year dial can also be used for F stop.
