Current operable film Pentax (4): Spotmatic SP, K1000, MV1, ZX-M
Sold-down-the-river Pentax (4): Spotmatic SP and SPII, MV1, SF-1
Sold-down-the-river Ricohs (4): 1000 TLX (Focal); SR 2000 KS and two T.L.S. (Sears)

I will admit to going after my current Spotty and K1000 (total cost: US$24 shipped) just to be able to say that I have them. My current MV1 and ZX-M (total cost: US$16 shipped) were just sort of blow-by, fillers in box-lots of gear. Those I sold (average cost: under US$8 shipped) were also incidentals -- keep the lens, sell the camera.

No, I don't go out of my way to grab old Pentaxi, nor almost any old cameras. They mostly just happen: inherited, or collateral damage from lens-dealing. So I now have 45 cameras, and have sold another 30, and hope to sell 5+ of the current accumulation. Anybody want a couple Argus C3's? I didn't think so...

Currently in the 11-20 bracket with Asahi - Pentax. I would say I am an explorer rather then a collector as I came from digi and been renewed into film.

Used to have more than 20. Now down to one MX in mint working condition. Still got 5 or 6 junks though, but they are for parts or display only.

Have a dozen or more around here from spotmatics to the latest film cameras along with a couple Ricoh and Sears.I don't really use any of them any more, have been thinking of selling them all but don't get around to it.If I do sell them and keep one it will be a Ricoh ,forget the model but like the viewfinder and the information it contains.

we all knew that! you ever get that Asahiflex in working order? that m37 to m42 adapter is about the only thing I have ever regretted selling. I hate seeing your collection, because it makes me sick with envy.

No I haven't yet...I have 2 different Asahiflexs that are in great shape but need some work. For servicing, Eric has been great with the AP forward but he indicated he doesn't work on the older models or any of the preset lenses with helicoids.

I've started swapping out some of the chrome bodies with blacks as they're more rare, but ironically, I like the chromes better.

A K1000 and a Super-A. The K1000 got me started with Pentax and photography generally, and I am loving the Super-A, a joy to use. I want to get a DA 40 Ltd to use with it as it's already so compact.

I have a P30 with a dead shutter that I need to get rid of.

There is a Spotmatic F at the local camera shop that I would love to own, it is immaculate and beautiful! But I want to stay with one lens mount so I can keep my LBA within boundaries. I would also like to own fewer, good quality lenses that I can use on all my cameras. I hate stop down metering, so my resolution is to buy KA mount and newer lenses, preferably with FF capability for the time being.

If I had the money though, I would be up there in the 6-10 category in no time.

I have 2 K1000s, an ME Super SE and a Spotmatic SP2. I started out to collect Minoltas then the Pentax gear just started showing up. I've found a lot more Minolta lenses around, Pentax lenses are scarce in this area..

Not a collector or even an enthusiastic photographer really, but have accidentally accumulated an ME Super (used infrequently loaded with colour film), Chrome MX (shutterspeed indicator in viewfinder does not work, but otherwise operational), ProgramPlus, P30, P30T and a P50.

The last four in the list were bought as a batch of five non-working cameras along with a SuperA being sold off 'for spares' (I like taking things apart - should have grown out of that by now) only to find that by replacing batteries and generally playing with them, all but the SuperA came to life (which was also the case with the chrome MX a few months ago - I'm sure these things just like being used).

All started last christmas when I received a beaten up old black MX with an M40/2.8 from sant that just 'felt' fantastic in the hands - we don't make things like that any more.

So that makes 7 working bodies, but only two with film going through them at the minute.
