Well I'm glad to see there are a few others who have "too many" film pentaxi.

My collection has picked up a bit lately since learning the ZX/MZ mirror motor repair, as I've been buying a number of junkers from that series, which cost about nothing. After some test rolls through the most recently repaired ones, I might sell a few off.

Currently, P67, ZX-5n, ZX-5, ZX-10 (X2), ZX-M, P30t (x2), P30n, Super Program (x2), Program Plus, LX, MX (x2), MV1, ME Super, KX, KM (x2), K1000 (x4), Spotty SPII. And there's a ZX-30 on the way, in unknown condition.

That's not counting a smattering of Yashica, Chinon, Canon and Olympus.

Lets see...

Spotmatic, KX x2, K1000, ME, ME Super, MV, Super Program, P30T, SF1, ZX-7.

Another Spotty and Super Program in rough shape plus a couple Zenits and a Canon.

All were acquired for the lenses that came with them, but I do intend to shoot film next year.

this thread has reminded me of why it was a good decision to sell a lot of my collection, and i plan to make it smaller still. were nowhere near as bad as some of the rangefinder guys, but still. maybe I’ve just gone into a ‘simple’ phase, and am adjusting my life accordingly. nice to see though that there are crazier collectors than I. however, id still kill to have smc’s collection.

Actually that's pretty easy. I got one batch of 10 MF cams (120 and 620, folders and TLRs and boxes) for US$70 shipped and a week later got another 6 odd cams for US$30. Then I was given 8 cams by a relative. They can pile up pretty quickly. No, I haven't kept them all.

3 x pre-Spotmatics, SP2, ES, chrome ESII, KM, KX, 3 x ME Super, 3 x MX, ME, MV, MV1, MG, ME-F, Super A, 2 x tatty Program As, A3, LX, SF7, SFX, SFXn, Z20.and my late Mum's point and shoot. I think that is it for Pentaxes.

Most of these I use and I try to rotate my use around them, even the A3. The LX gets a lot of use, and I really like my ES, too.

Sorry but i miss-counted on the poll.
The trouble is, you sort of forget how many you've got. Perhaps the wife is right after all?

So here is the Pentax list: S1a x 2, SV, SP1000, SP, SP-F, K1000, MX, A3, Super A, MZ-5n, and an associated collection of Takumar/auto/super/S-M-C/K/M/A/F/FA lenses and other accessories. The super A I had from new but all the others have been add in the last three years. There are a few others I would love to add and probably will when given the chance.

The trouble is once you start collecting, you try to complete the set. At the moment I am also collecting older Practica/Pentacon, Retina and Braun Paxettes as well.

Then I would really like a couple of lenses for the MPP 4x5...............

only 3 at the moment (SV, Sp500,KM) my MX was sold off Saturday to a forum member for parts to get his working (I never got around to getting that one working) All 3 have had a roll or 3 put through them in the last year, all of them were a result of lba, most of them were disposed of quickly. when i come off my self imposed buying freeze in the spring i'll end up with more i'm sure
mind you i still have another 10 film camera besides these so i'm not suffering for choice

I seem to be the only one in the 21+ club so far, with 25 hoarded as of today - was hoping to find Nesster would be there too, but alas.

Nesster, you own a lot of different types of cameras, right? Also, was there ever a Honeywell from the period of their marketing arrangement with Asahi/Pentax that didn't also say Pentax on it?

I have 13 Pentax cameras; 5 M42 mounts; 7 k-mounts; 1 Auto 110.

Yes, Honeywell did sell at least one rangefinder camera that was not made by Pentax. It was a small RF that was, I believe, made by Mamiya. I've only seen one show up on eBay.

I'm afraid to count, however I am confident I'm not in the 21+ group.
