What a great find! I keep checking our V V out but have never seen anything remotely that nice.

Great job!

I think they are called Savers in the US. There are about 7 stores with 1 hour of where I live. the sell donated items sort of like a Goodwill.

Ah yes I am familiar with the idea. I never thought about going to one to look for camera stuff. I'll have to try it.

Usually there are some near hospitals that take all kinds of items and sell them at whatever the clerk feels like putting on it, sometimes the donator lets them know vaguely what they might be worth. A lot of these stores are popular for donating used cloths since they give you receipts for back up for charity donations on your tax returns.

Thanks for the tip - its a nice find.

WOW, What a score. I've check my local ones but just find junk mostly in that back corner where this stuff is generally kept. The case is work more than double the total price! Good for you.

Holy Chit Batman...nothing like that at the local VV (x2). I keep checking that back corner like Peter says but nothing, the clerks get to them before the customers do - I know this as a fact.

I also check-out the Sally Ann Thrift shops and the St Vincent de Paul here in the city and surrounding towns, but nothing yet.

Enjoy, whilst the rest of us get envious - well, not really but enjoy anyway.

The bananas are dancing! Good for you. I hope the lens works well. Have you posted any shots with it?
