P3/P30 focusing screen removal

Hi.

I've been using some manual lenses recently with my K-r and I've come up with an idea of removing the focusing screen from my faulty P30 and cut it to certain size to have a split focusing screen. But I've got a problem with removing it.

There's one screw above the suppressing sponge (I don't really know how it is called). When I unscrew it, the sponge statrs to move but doesn't want to get out and the focusing screen frame remains as it was before.

Has anybody got an idea on getting the focusing screen out?

The screen is fixed in this camera. The only way to remove it is from the top. That means removing the top, prism and everything above the screen.

Thank you. I have dissasembled my P30 (read: killed) and got the focusing screen out. The pentaprism is an amazing thing BTW.
