Great set Phil! Nice to see you had a few days with clear skies between "monsoons"!

Arrived today in good shape. I should have took you up on that offer of the Kodak Gold Phil. The Portra I thought I had was 120 not 35mm. Looks like I'll be shooting B&W then. T400CN. I wish I still had a roll or two of Tech Pan. I always loved the extreme contrast of that film for certain subjects.

Just wanted to keep everyone up to date. I haven't shot anything yet. On April 6th there is an air show here and that's what I'll be shooting with it. It'll be nice to have my wide angles as wide for the planes on the ground. For in the air I'll be shooting my Q with the K mount adapter. Then it'll be on to the next person!

Fantastic shots Phil, looks like you had a good run with the MX.

I feel bad that I haven't gotten my film developed yet It's been a hectic month. Busy busy.

Looking forward to seeing your photos post_EOS!

I'm going out tomorrow to shoot my turn. Who's got it next so I can send it off next week?

Sent him a PM.

I shot with it today. Felt nice to wind film again. Love the viewfinder. It did have a problem with one of my lenses, a cheapie Lenmar 135, in that the shutter wouldn't fire with it on there. All else was fine though. When the Lenmar wouldn't work I switched to an F100~300. Having a Canon background it felt really weird using an AF lens on an MF body. Those 2 just aren't supposed to mix .

I'm glad it worked out. It's too bad they can't seem to replicate the viewfinder from the M series to digital. I haven't shot film for a few months now so I'm getting the itch..
