Hello,
I just acquired a ZX-10 and a ZX-7 from the marketplace. The ZX-10 was the first one to be tested. It looks like new. New batteries, my old FA 28-80, a roll of Kodak Gold 100 and off we go!
The roll was developed locally and I scanned the negatives at home. The weather was not cooperating as it has been raining hard for weeks.

This is supposed to be a "cheap" plastic mass market consumer camera. But I don't know why I like it so much. It is very competent and I found it surprisingly easy to use in either manual, semi-automated or automatic mode. With the exception of the sensor and LCD screen, it behaves just like an entry level first generation DSLR.
The panorama feature, which may seems like a "gimmick", turned out to be a refreshing and fun composition aid. I found myself using it more and more.
Here are some test shots: I wish the weather was a bit better but still, a fun experience.
Some distorsion at the wide end as expected. Easy to correct in PP but I left it as is for demo purposes.
And my favorite of the roll, using the panorama function:
I found the panorama function to be a lot of fun
I have not tested using flash nor hotshoe, nor using older lenses. But I plan to keep using it.
Thanks to another fellow forum member, an FG grip is on its way so I can use AAs.
Conclusion: NONE... I'm just having fun...
Thanks,
