ZX-5N AF and Diopter Problems - Service?

The AF in my ZX-5N is shot. Humbug! It refuses to focus. Also the diopter seems off in some way. It's hard to describe but I can never get it just right.... Any suggestions on where to service this? What it will cost...and if I should just bite the bullet and get an MZ-S?

Nikon's got plentiful F100s and the droooool worthy F6, and we've got broken or breaking down consumer cameras, and 30+ year old manual cameras...ughhh The things I put up for, for my 31mm Limited!!!!

It's not worth getting it fixed since the labour would be too costly. Why would the AF and diopter shot anyway? Was it dropped?

That sounds strange- perhaps the mirror got moved somehow?

In any case, just get a new camera, they're dirt-cheap.

It just refuses to focus. Come to think of it, I should still be within my B&H warranty so I'll just return it. Problem solved...sort of...I don't have a camera anymore! Probably going to roll on that MZ-S then.
