I'm a bit late on this, but...

I have an LX (sticky mirror so not currently in use) a Z-1 (PZ-1) and once bought a PZ-1p used (went back due to overlapping frames). I'm fairly confident I could handhold the Z-1 at slower speeds than the LX, the electronic release is much softer than a mechanical link and the mirror damping is probably going to be better. Of these and the MZ-S, my preference for a camera today would (budget allowing) be the LX, the overlapping frames on the PZ-1p put me off buying used motorised bodies completely (well apart from a recent A3000). Also the Z-1 is limited to using 2CR5 batteries (I got about 15 rolls per battery).

Metering accuracy isn't a problem for me as I rarely use the camera settings without some adjustment. Sharpness is affected mostly (body wise) by mechanical construction, keeping the lens and film frame/pressure plate where they should be and correctly aligned and ensuring the focus is accurate. Different bodies will be slightly out by different amounts and my LX feels most likely to keep things in the right place (accepting that a fixed penta-prism may be better than a removable one).
