LX Flash Sync Cover

Sorry for starting another new add about Pentax LX parts, but I can't figure out how to edit the title of my last thread. Anyways, I'm looking for a Pentax LX flash sync cover that doesn't cost $40 + shipping. Anyone know where to find one of these tiny peices of plastic goodness?

Just pay the price. You won't find it any cheeper, unless you buy one and then have a mold made and get some produced for sale. Then you can sell them at a price and make a profit.

Most LXs I see on eBay are missing the sync cover.

If you want one jandjvenckus have one or two for sale on eBay.

I have seen them go for over US$100 in the past.

Yes, a rare and pricey accessory.
You will find nothing is cheap for the LX. But you knew that going in, didn't you?
If you must have it pay the price. Your camera will work fine without it though.

I would call Pentax and ask them.

I called Pentax Canada in Toronto, and they sold me two of the screw-in covers for the bottom of the LX motor drive mounts, for half the ebay price. And they are new stock. So maybe Pentax also has a sync cover for you?

I was high in spirit to day when I went of to the local Pentax distributor. He said to have such plugs on the shelf. But it was the wrong type, the type that looks like MX plugs. I bought a set of those and a set of two single plugs. Just in case.. And the price: USD 6 per set.
