Split screen / ground glass in a Pentax SV?

Does anyone know if the ground glass in the SV is the same physical dimensions as the Spotmatic / K series? I have a black SV that I would love to fit with a split prism, and I have a K1000 with a split that I could use as a parts donor. The two screens look the same to me - does anyone know?

Shot a roll with the new S3 yesterday, and enjoyed it. The SV is a work of art - can't wait to get it out for a try. It'll need a CLA first, though.

Ask your tech when you have the CLA done. To be truthful, I have my doubts though.

Steve
I've emailed Eric H to ask him the same question, so we'll see what he thinks.

The camera was advertised with a stuck shutter on eb@y, but I'm happy to report that a cursory inspection revealed that the mirror return spring was off of its pin. Once back in place, the shutter cycles properly now about 90% of the time, and seems to be improving that rate as it is "exercised." If it locks up some assistance with a carefully placed finger sorts it out again.

I might just try a roll through it before it heads south to Eric.

Heard back from Eric - the Spotmatic / K series screens are a different size than the SV ones, so it won't work.
