Best wishes, Eric. I encourage you to take all the time you need to deal with your grief. If possible, don't come back to work until you feel eager to do it. You've done a lot of good things for people over the years, myself included. Sometimes you need to take care of your own needs.

BTW I went through a near-death experience myself not so long ago. I won't say much except that I think your wife is still around somewhere, and in a good way.

You've earned your place in the Pentax family, we are all here for you.

I look at the death of a loved one this way, its not goodbye forever, enjoy your time on earth and you will eventually be together again. You will just have to save up all the things you want to tell her about for a little while.
