Yup, I'm finding myself afflicted with CBA, too, much more than LBA. No worries, friend, you have company in your sickness.

$105 for a KX ain't bad at all. Congrats.
A little demon made me buy a Mamiya NC1000 this week because I've been curious as to how it stacks up to my K2. It has a the film speed dial in a similar configuration and everything. However, it is about the same weight as the MX and a .94x viewfinder.

Oh, that's too bad. I do hope you get your money back.
The seller is refunding me the purchase, but sticking me with the shipping both ways. Hopefully he will change his mind and meet me halfway on the shipping.

Steve

(Now, how to word the bad feedback?...)

First time I've heard of that model, so I had to Google it for specs and info. I'm really not that well-versed with Mamiya, I only know them from their medium-format stuff.

So, how *does* it stack up to the K2?

I don't have it yet. Maybe tomorrow. I don't have a lens for it though.

Edit: Info on the NC1000 http://herron.50megs.com/NC1000.htm

Well ... picked up the newer Spotmatic SP this morning from up the coast.
This thing is in extremely nice conditon ... has a roll of Fuji Superia 200 in it ... and a working meter.

Along with a Super Tak 50 f/1.4 (non-yellowed) attached in immaculate condition.

So I have one dirty Spottie ... and an immaculate one.

Trying to pare down. Some of you have helped, but I keep buying more!
K100D - I use all the time. The film cameras I try to rotate through.
MZ-S really I should just use this if I am shooting film, it kicks butt
Super Program - just got it, really like it, haven't seen the results yet
Ricoh XR-7 - like it so much I sold my ME Super, has the Av mode and has DOF preview
MX - not sure how much I'll use it now that I have the Super program. We'll see.
K1000 - my first real camera, but not used in over a year - too many others to play with
Mamiya CWP - odd body I bought to try out M42 shooting, has issues, but the 58mm 1.7 lens is great.
