Excuse my ignorance on this question. Just not totally sure about what to do. So, I have a Pentax-A 645 f/3.5 35mm lens. Its a fantastic landscape lens on the 645. I got rid of my 645n body and am now thinking about using this lens on my Pentax MX (with adapter of course). Has anyone ever done this? What were the images like? Would it just be better to sell it and purchase a Pentax 20mm wide angle M lens?
Sorry for all of the questions, just not sure how it would work on the MX. It would be a waste to have the lens just sit around but not sure if it would be worth it to pick up the adapter or just get a different lens for the MX.
As kcobain said, I just wanted to make sure that you know that a 35mm 645 lens will look like a 35mm on 35mm film. That may sound redundant, but it won't give you a wider angle view on 35mm film as it does on 645.
For a sharp and much lighter 35mm, I recommend the K 35/3.5.
That said, I have the M 20 and I like it a lot. Here's a recent landscape (very slight crop):
