Where do source your films from?

Just wondering, where do source your negative and slide films from?

Any good price supplier?

Given that you are half way around the world from me, telling you that my local stores offer a nice selection of film isn't much help to you I'd guess. OTOH, I've bought larger quantities of film from B&H.

Adorama, B&H, Ebay, Craigslist and local stores. I bought a box of >100 rolls of expired (4/1992) Kodak Ektar 125 for $20. 20 rolls of expired (11/2005) Kodak 400UC for $30. So far so good!

The 1992 expired Kodak Ektar 125 - not properly stored, is very old. From it I got the following results.

I tested it a various exposures to determine correct ISO. Looks like ISO64/32 is ideal.

A couple shot at ISO64, processed normally and scanned with very minor adjustments.

About 1 second exposure.

They are 24 exposure rolls and at that price, I couldn't pass it up at least to try.

Hi Yusuf
When in Pune I had C41 by 36 developed, printed 4 by 6 and scans on cd at FotoFast, all for Rs 270 (equiv US$5.00)
Great value !! even if they did not provide a replacement roll!
In USA same job costs about $13
Today Walmart has 4 by 24 of Fuji 400 on special for $10.00, (regular $14.98)

By end of holiday period i will have 4 rolls of 35mm and 2 rolls of 120 C41 ready to send off for processing.
That is a cost of about $100
Expensive when compared to the K-01 with kit lens, for example, I see now less than $400.

On the bw side home devel is a bit cheaper
I see I purchased $77.00 of developing supplies from B&H which will last about 2 years and do 50 to 100 8 by 10 prints
But HP5+ 35mm by 24 is $3.75 /roll.

I am reading about home processing C41 - not sure yet

Silverprint in the UK is also good, but they require a large purchase (75) to ship overseas.

Freestyle sells expired film too, but everything is kept in cold storage so it is usually ok.
