Lovely Nettar. I have a Nettar 515 (6x4.5) with the same lens, which performs wonderfully. You got a real bargain, and if you're not already addicted to folding cameras, I expect you will be soon.

Here are my folders, all in regular use.

Is that a Franka Solida III in the middle? The fast lens and built-in rangefinder make it quite a flexible package (for a folder). I take mine travelling sometimes, which I rarely do with my other MF cameras.

I have an Agfa Isolette II and a Moscow 5. The Agfa gets a great deal of use, the Moscow rarely.

Yes, it's a Solida III. It belonged to my wife's late father, and my mother-in-law surprised me with it on one of her visits from England. It took me a while to come to terms with the uncoupled rangefinder, but the lens is fantastic and, yes, very fast for a folder. I carry all my folders everywhere I go along with a Minolta Autometer III.

The Isolette is one camera I would love to have, but, like a Super Ikonta, will just have to find its way to me someday. Two of my folders were given to me, so it's hardly unlikely. What's the lens on your Isolette?

All filmed up with no place to go: I loaded these two last week but haven't had a chance to take them out -- plan was to go to NYC -- now maybe Friday!

It is the Agnar lens and the Pronto shutter. It was the bargain version of the Isolette II. I got it for 12.50 from a charity shop.

I have a few sets of photos taken with it on my Ipernity account.

Fantastic work with the Isolette! Never underestimate the power of a modest triplet, I say. By all accounts Isolettes have bellows as leaky as sieves, but yours looks to be fine.

Speaking about old folders and bellows, I have a Billy II with a bad bellows, I am kinda torn between getting the chinese bellows off ebay for $40, sending it off for $135, or building a bellows myself.
Has anyone here tried the chinese?
Any one built a bellows from scratch?
Any good less expensive shop options?

Any advice or suggestions that I have not considered?

BTW, I have already tried thinned black silicone caulking and liquid shoe polish, neither one is a lasting solution.

Thanks!!

I believe that the black spray on hair gunk, that TV presenters use to hide their bald spots, does a great job for small leaks in bellows.
