This is camera erotica at its best. You've got a sweet collection, and your photos are gorgeous. I especially like the black on black, which is something I do in various forms, though not nearly this well.

Today's thrift store bargain p0rn ...

- a Zeiss Ikon Voigtlander Vitessa 1000 SR with CZ Tessar 42/2.8 and Prontor 1000 LK ... works great, but battery cover door is broken (scotch tape fix)
- a Voigtlander Vitomatic II a with Color-Skopar 50/2.8and Prontor SLK - V ... shutter is "slow" at higher speeds, but all else works fine ... Fun stuff, J

Several swap meets over the past year and a half, or so (got the A 50/1.4 off the PF marketplace) ... the VFs were mostly trades for other gear that I acquired elsewhere and the LX was (another) "gamble purchase". The idiot seller did not have batteries for it (go figure), so towards the end of the swap I talked him down A LOT on the price. I had hit his stand several times beforehand about the LX and a nice Tak 17mm that he had, plus other stuff. A gamble on the LX, but it turned out AOK ... passed on the 17.

This is how I get so much stuff to trade for Pentax gear ... my thrift store gold mine. Here's an example for last Friday (x-post from "latest acquisition")

One of the best thrift store "Super Friday" hauls ... it's a long list:

For 4€, the camera and lens below ... and for 2€, the lens on the right ("2" written on front element)

What were they ?! A very nice (but needs seals) Nikon FE2 with a Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 ... and a nice Nikkor 35-105 f/3.5-4.5 Macro ... super deal !!!

Also snagged a 5€ bag with a very nice Minolta X-700 with a 50/1.7 MD, plus a mint Tokina RMC 80-200 f/4.5 in MD with caps and its original sack, plus nice old light meter and an "iffy" flash ... doesn't want to work all the time, plus manuals for all ...

And for 4€, an "OK" Canon AE-1 with a 50/1.8 FD ...

Plus many more goodies, far too many to mention ... it was a "Super Friday" J (end self quote)

PS ... I'm probably going to keep the FE2 + 24mm combo ... into the "personal collection" (ha!)
