Just received this M40 2.8 from DC Shooter with the high quality makeover in red black and silver - Pentax colours...

Will use on my K2 and K20D. (And K3 Gunmetal when it arrives.)

So pleased I had this done - all compliments to DCShooter for his usual high quality work - distinctive, high quality and one of a kind.

You want more?

The 110s are lovely. They are the only two pieces of the 110 range I don't have. I've seen the Safari for sale but couldn't justify the price.

Coronet and Kodak

Not mine, but here's what to do with unwanted gear. The lampstand on the left is for sale at 245 at our local antiques shop. The Coronet is worth <20.

I am also envious of the 110s. I have the entire 110 system except for the Safari, the transparent and the 110 Super. I have 2 Auto 110s and all six lenses, the winder and both flashes. I also have the belt clip and the chain strap. What can I say? I allowed myself one system to just be me collecting stuff.

I also think the transparent Auto110 is the only transparent Pentax camera you can actually use, since 110 cartridges are self-sealed.

Just cause They are charging 245 pounds doesn't mean they'll get it.

I like them though. I may have to make a generic "Camera stand lamp" with a tripod screw for displaying some of the cameras I'm not currently using.

Love the 110s, and really love the black and red M40... gorgeous. I'd love a lens with that treatment, but perhaps a 50/1.7...

Gear P0rn - post it if you got it.

New arrival, unfortunately it's locked up and needs CLA.

And another one of the lens. It will be for BW film only.

I love shooting both black and white and color through my Leica and my Bessa R2.

I am something of a Leica guy, and I love my M2. Wonderful find. Please let us know when it comes back and you can start using the beauty!

How's the haze on the Summarit? Gotta love whale oil lubricated lenses.

This one has zero haze. Barely any micro scratches on the front element too. It had the uv filter since new. It had CLA on it before I got it. But I did pay a premium for it. It also has the original hood.

Unfortunately I didn't even take a single photo with it yet.

Erik

I have a summilux 50 on the way for colour. But in particular from what I have seen, I like summarit's BW look. I should get it in a week or so, just before my quick 4 day trip to japan. So the camera and both of the lenses should get good workout.

I posted before on my red camera with Contax 137MA. Lens mounted is a Super-Tak 50mm f/1.4 with 8-element. Apology if you get bored with repeated posts but I am a sicko with gear porn. I scratched it up pretty bad with a poor quality M42 to C/Y adapter and not remembering to push the release mount in dis-mounting leaves a scar for my memory. 3rd picture under the letter X is the scratch mark.

I don't hear much about this camera before owning it. Its viewfinder is bright and clear and the bottom houses 4 AA battery and it self-rewinds on film advance. The metering is claimed to be superb by the previous owner. Kudo to the previous owner who goes the extra efforts on the red leatherette upgrade.

Cheers,
Hin

First time posting here, as my dad just gave me his Pentax camera equipment. So this morning I've been taking some photos and thought I'd share them with you.

I was very impressed with his collection and the condition.

What do you think?
