Funny and I wish that I had a case or two lost like that in the back of a closet ... J

Q; When do you know you have a problem?

A: When you find cases like this in the back of your closet that you don't even remember you had:

(Yes, this wasn't the only one).
You found it at the end of a rainbow . . .

I'm just hearing the A-Team theme, followed by a slightly smaller pile of fully functional cameras!

I sent mine to Knight Camera in Vancouver, Washington.
The repair guy there knows Medalist cameras well.
You should had Mike (Knight) do the 620 --> 120 conversion while he had it.

I want to keep it original. Re-rolling isn't a big deal.

That's what I do with mine for my Medalist. I heard the full conversion also doesn't work all that well sometimes...but doing a feed-side to 120 would be kinda nice, so I wouldn't have to decide what kind of film I want to run in the Medalist before a shooting trip.

Blue Moon Camera in Portland, Oregon sells new film on modified 120 spools that will fit in the feed side of an unmodified Medalist.
They will sell any available film this way, and the prices aren't bad.

Thanks for the info...unfortunately that moves the decision of what film to use all the way back to purchase time, not trip prep. I want to be able to take my Medalist out with my 6x7 or one of my TLRs and feed them from a common pool. But ill probably just be a cheapskate for now and respool

I've seen a Medalist for sale but the film format puts me off. Will need to read up on the camera and look at my options, but 620 without a local supplier of the format I think will be more trouble than it's worth.

We're having a 'bokeh night' at the university's photographic society tonight, so I'm taking along my first PF marketplace purchase (merci, John!), the Auto Revuenon 50/1.4, and some lights. It's going to be fun.
