And I thought I did well getting this combo for under $80au

You've done well getting a 1.2 at all, and even better for a great value one!

Great deal on the 50/1.2!!

My Z-1P system is coming together nicely - an AF500FTZ is in the post…

It is indeed...That shot looks familiar, only more festive with the Christmas tree and a much nicer lens. What type of battery pack is that?

Awesome Boris! I got the 35mm f1.8, but the previous model, the all metallic one. I traded it for the 45mm f2 and 5 bucks.

That's a great haul. I have that Tokina 35-105 in K-mount and it's a pretty sharp lens.

That's a good deal you got there! It's a bit large for APS-C use (I prefer my MC 50/1.4 with the Lens Turbo) but I'm keeping it just in case I can ever afford a fullframe MILC. (Sony needs an affordable normal prime and a competitor to the Fuji 18-55, though)

on a Sony A7:

That's good for the guy who just bought it... I don't like manual zooms (especially push/pull-zooms). I shouldn't have sold my MD35-70/3.5, though.
If it wasn't for the minimum focus distance (1.5m, the macro mode only works at 105mm), I might have kept the MD 35-105/3.5-4.5.
In terms of sharpness and contrast, some of the Minolta zooms are excellent (they tend to have rather strong distortion, though):

at 50mm (on APS-C):

Ha - nice set-up! Lens is el-cheapo DA35/2.4, but I find it works really well on film.

"Battery pack" is just a grip called "Grip Strap FDP" - quite rare I believe, mentioned here on Dimitrovi's page: Z-1p / PZ-1p

Last purchase of the year:

It's though to find an A-1 or any other vintage Canon for the matter with the original case.

Very nice! Do you already have FD lenses and sibling Canons? The A-1 would be a great camera to own.

Yes, although my FD system is not huge in comparison with my Pentax gear, I've a 50 mm f1.2, a 50mm f1.8 and two Makinon zooms...even if the last two are too heavy to be carried for "real" use.

The 1,8 is destined to this camera and will act as companion to my F1N, I was undecided between the A-1 and the T90, but in the end I got this one for a decent price, and I'm curious to try this very famous camera to see if it's at the height of its reputation.
