Thank you! Then perhaps you will enjoy my Takumar M42 family that i enjoy using with them.
As i said with my Cameras, the past few days i've been sorting out the gear in my bags, and here are all the different Takumar lenses i have in my M42 family.
(Sorry for the low quality shots of them, but its 3am and i just cant sleep tonight. I just wanted to get a quick shot of them all together before I put them back in their cases/cameras.)
Moving from left to right, back row is...
Takumar 300mm f4
Super Takumar 70-150mm f4.5
SMC Takumar 85-210mm f4.5
Super Takumar 200mm f4
Super Takumar 135mm f3.5
SMC Takumar 150mm f4
...middle row...
Super Takumar 135mm f2.5
Super Takumar 24mm f3.5
SMC Takumar 105mm f2.8
Super Takumar 105mm f2.8
Auto Takumar 35mm f3.5
SMC Takumar 55mm f1.8
SMC Takumar 28mm f3.5
...and front row.
Super Takumar 35mm f3.5
SMC Takumar 50mm f1.4
Super Takumar 55mm f1.8
Super Takumar 50mm f1.4
Super Takumar 55mm f2

Not in the pic but i do have the Wide Angle hoods also for the 28mm f3.5 and the 24mm f3.5 as well as the Standard Lens hood also for the 50mm f1.4 / 50mm f1.8-2, all with their original leather cases too.
The 300mm, 150mm and 70-150mm zoom came form Japan with their original lens cases too.

A tale of woe about a broken K1000 led me to this, my shiny "new" MX, with 50mm 1.4M . Love it. Cannot wait to try it out.

Well then let me share with you a tale of happiness of my K1000 SE to help cheer things up even more...
I love the brown leather look they have. Maybe your MX and it can be friends!

Direbear - LOVE that K1000 of yours. The covering on it is cool, I think you said before on another post that this is the way you received it - is it a standard covering?

The K1000 I had, had two quirks that I wasn't keen on. One being the lack of split-focus and no way of changing this. Trying to get critical focus at 1.4 would be "fun" without it. And the other annoyance was that it was too easy to change the ISO setting when adjusting the shutter speed. The MX resolves both these issues.

Nild - this MX is a tiny solid metal block of all that is sexy. I love it. Somebody recommended I should look into getting one, really glad I did. Mine is not perfect, needs a replacement focus screen as this one has scratches, and apparently the hotshoe/x-sync is a bit hit-and-miss but I won't use those much if at all anyway so not worried about that.

Dear me that MZ-S is a beast

A FSU curio, KMZ Krystall. Successor to the Zenit 3, it was only in production for a year because the art deco design and enamel finish proved unpopular. Personally I love it. It's based on the Zorki 6, and comes with the M39 Industar-50 lens.
