Hello everyone! I would love to share with you our definitive film collection.

Curiously, they are all M-3's but the Pentax:

Mamiya c33 (with blue dot 80mm f2,8 and cameraleather.com red snake skin leatherette)
Leica M3 (with Elmar 9cm f4 stock, want to get the 50mm f2)
Olympus OM3 (handmade by me in blue leather with the zuiko 21mm f2, I also have the 24mm 35mm and 180 f2's and am looking for the 28mm f2 and the 85mm f2)
Pentax LX (which is undergoing a makeover in white leather. with the 40mm f2.8 M, )
I like the white on the Pentax. My LX wears grey Griptac and I like the subtleness.

Great collection!

Griptac and subtle in the same sentence? That is a combination I have not seen before

This one is in terrific cosmetic condition but the frame counter was not working, and the timer was dicey. I have sent it away for restoration and conversion to 1.55v batteries. The quote is $225, which, with mailing costs puts the final price over $300. I just don't like having unserviceable cameras unless they are intended for display only. I do love the heavy metal quality feel of the rangefinders from the fifties and sixties before the plastic point and shoots took over. It was pointd out to me that due to the closeness of the lens to the film, there is an inherent advantage of image resolution. Certainly my experience is that the rangefinders don't take a back seat to SLRs. Now I need to find an Olympus 35 SP that doesn't break the bank.

Thanks, I first I thought of selling my Minolta x370 with a 35mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.4 but I am thinking very seriously of keeping it and get a few more lenses for that camera thanks to Mr BorisAkunin.... but first, I need to get some more Ltds! for the LX and the K3

Still needs some work, but so far I am rather pleased. This is the 6x9 model, not the 4x5.

For fun ... a recent thrift store find. Nice simple SLR overall ... like new shape with original cap, strap and hot shoe cover. The case is crumbly and seals are in order. Everything works and I will try to trade this one away at the Poitiers swap in 2 weeks.

Talk about form following function -- that thing looks super cool and super fun.

Although I've had it for two months I've only just started using it, so it's time to introduce my latest insanity:

Arca-Swiss F-line Classic 4x5 w/ Caltar (Rodenstock) II-N 1:5.6 210mm

Beautiful camera! That Caltar 210/5.6 looks pretty petite. I have a Nikkor-W 210/5.6 that is about twice that size and very heavy too. It is almost too much for my Chamonix field camera.
