Not a great photo, but here's my newest acquisition. Cute, isn't she?
That little Olympus is quite lovely.

Nice copy - I too have a soft spot for the M40 - fills a (very small) space in my travelling kit.
Not totally sold on 40mm as a focal length on APS-C to be honest and, I havent used it on film. Im sure I'll start using it more often but, it may go on the marketplace as I have a DA 40 limited so, this is superfluous. Its a beautiful looking lens though with a great feel to it.

In which case yes it is superfluous. But it is a useful focal length when you pair it with the 15 or the 21 as it provides a little more reach for not much more space when travelling. An ungripped body with these lenses is almost pocketable and very unobtrusive.

So, I had a fun day rolling around the thrift shops. Picked all this fun stuff up for only $10. Had to run to work right after, so didn't get to test any of it. Will do that when I get home tonight.

Haha. I'll try and make my own tags if I need to. Thanks again for the other tags though.

The force is weak with this one!
Pentax MF primes are a real bargain a lot of the time. I suppose its because they made so damn many of them. I REALLY need to clean the dust out of my storage room too by the looks of it

Just realised the MZ-M needs a MF lens

Aside from the gear posted in this thread, I so enjoyed the way Pentaxians shoot their gear.
Great product shots! Great technique! I am so inspired to those shots like you guys did.

Out of all all them I still love this liil beauty. Small, fairly lightweight, and still great IQ. An absolute classic

Not really wanting to be picky, but could you limit the dimensions of your photos to something a little more moderate? This one is over 4,000 pixels on the long axis and is larger than most of our monitors meaning that we can't see the whole thing at a glance without changing our forum settings. Usually somewhere between 800 and 1,000 pixels on the long dimension works well.
