Agreed! The P30/n/t are highly under-rated and except for the ISO 100 limitation for non-DX encoded canisters I consider them to be desirable bodies.

A shortcoming that's quite easily overcome with DX stickers (I make my own as they're hard to come by these days). I have two P30s, two P30Ns and a P30T. Great cameras and very reliable, though with a nasty shutter sound.

Maybe soft core compared to some of the stuff here but . . .

I found it on ebay and yes, it looks very clean. Nice copy.

Glad you got it solved.
It finally arrived and it is about as spotless as a 60 year old SLR can be. A fleck of black on the focusing screen is all, so off to Eric when he's fully recovered.

Really remarkable how tiny it is next to modern cameras, or even K body Pentaxes. I'm just going to ignore that one word 'black' in the description and enjoy my K.

I just traded emails with Eric about my recent K - also with the zebra 1.8, and he said may as well send it now to get in line. He figures a couple months to get back to normal.

Enjoy is synonymous with use, isn't it?

I still think an SV is the most beautiful camera ever, but this one sure is purty.

I missed this response. I have this one and a K2 for Eric. Yikes!

I have too many film cameras - so many I can't really keep up with using them unless I do it intentionally - but I'm a sucker for early S bodies in this condition. Any lens with the aperture ring at the front is cool, Zebra or black.

Of course this is an excuse to break out an old light meter.

Have you tried any of the light meter apps available for smartphones? I've noticed that one or two of my Super Programs seem to like shooting at 1/1000 or 1/2000 a lot more than they should, so the last roll was shot with the assistance of this light meter app. I'll develop the roll in the next few days.

Sorry? How is this possible? Is there such a thing as "too many?"

The only correct number of cameras to own is N+1.
N being the number you currently own.

If a film camera sits unused long enough it has to go back to Eric for a lube, so I try to use them all periodically. I have enough now that I have a small schedule or I would forget.

Thats a really good formula to remember. Is it universal?

Well, 24 hours per day, 365 days a year... one could get a few rolls of film processed in a year...
