From a boot sale near Poitiers on Sunday, an excellent working Yashica 35 Electro with case and an adapted battery for 10 ... I would have paid 10 just for the case to go with my GSN or GT ...

It was rainy and I almost didn't go out hunting, but now very glad that I did. This one will go into the personal "keeper" collection ... happy camper yet again. (xpost)
The Electro 35 series might be the very best fixed-lens rangefinders ever made.

It's quite an interesting camera. The film advance stops the lens down to the set aperture so that the auto exposure system can see the amount of light the exposure will get. The button on the front left here, which looks like it might be a DoF preview button is in fact the opposite - it opens the lens to maximum aperture in order to allow accurate focusing.
Brilliant! I can totally see how this would work, though it might be a little clumsy if own were firing off a series of shots.

My Minolta af lenses. All have metal bodies and are pretty heavy (well except the 50mm f1.7).

After some time of hiatus I snagged few lenses and a kit.

A Flektogon 35mm in PB mount for my Praktica system...at a decent price:

As where I am I don't have my Praktica bodies I decided to get this nice kit for 20, I hope I didn't overspend and I was honestly more attracted by the extra (CZJ bag, DDR filter and hoods, TTL flash) than by the camera and lens itself, indeed very common:

Also got one of these famous Pancolar fifties with electric connectors as I am looking for a VLC or PLC body:

This one is for my LX:

Beautiful....

Here's the Canon EOS 30 I bought to have something better to use with the Tamron 28-75.

Local camera show acquisition. I've been wanting one of the older 6x6 SLRs for a while, and the price was right for it.

What an odd shutter it has though. Somewhat similar to the Exa, in that the mirror acts as the first curtain.

(And no, I have no idea how to properly read the extinction meter on the top.)

Lovely lens. Looks in good condition. Totally automatic, light-meter dependent I believe.

Not exactly an antique rarity, but look what my wife got for almost nothing at a flea market! We have two ME Supers and one LX already, but this one has AF and works properly with lenses without an aperture ring:

A recent thrift store find for only 3 ... I think that it was priced at 7, but so badly written, it looked like a "3" ... xpost

A French Semflex "Standard B" 6x6 with full leather case ... the view finder is a SOM Berthiot 75/2.8 lens and the film lens is a SOM Berthiot 75/3.5 ... plus a Semflex push-on yellow filter came with it. The shutter speeds below 1/25th are horribly slow and off, but who cares for the price ... happy camper and a roll of 120 B&W soon for this one for the kicks.

I see the viewing lens is 75/2.8, but can't quite make out the aperture on the taking lens. 75/3.5?

i visited my niece and nephew in Richmond this weekend. They just bought, a white K-50. Then when i was showing them My KR-30sp, MX and A-100 that I brought along, they said the MX looks like the camera they found in the woods. Then showed me a camera bag with a Spotmatic, a 200mm, 55mm lens, and an A50 1.4!!! There was also a crispy Canonet in the bag... I made the updates to the custom menues to use the manual lens on the K-50. Well the spottie is toast; water damage. the lenes are fine, So I ended up leaving there without my MZ-7, Now I need to find another or a MZ/ZX-5n to replace it also I will be sending her my extra Spotmatic.
