Nice! I had forgotten how compact the Minolta XD cameras were, the typical classical Minolta to me was the SRT-101, since I had a couple of friends that owned it, but that was significantly larger, AFAIR.

With the rarely-seen VFC Rokkor to boot. @Boris: Where did you manage to find that one?

VFC with floating focus. EXTREMELY rare lens. Great find! I would personally get it on Ebay with the prices these fetch these days

We need some photos of the VFC in action.

It's from an online classifieds ad (80), this sort of bargain usually disappears within a few hours - so you still have to be quick to get it - but the chances are a lot better than on ebay...

I decided to sell it at a profit before I even got my hands on it... I already have an ordinary 24/2.8 with the same optics (and possibly slightly better coatings), I could see any IQ difference between the two in a quick test on APS-C (Fuji X-E1).
I'm a bit unsure about the asking price though, the VFC has a tiny scratch on the edge of the front element. It won't impact the image quality but I'm don't know what kind of impact on the value it has to a collector.

It's certainly 1st or 2nd (behind the 58/1.2) on my list of lenses to try on FF.

It will impact the price quite a bit (possibly about 20% of a mint copy) but, you should still be able to sell it for quite a lot. You'll HAVE to mention it in the listing though

I own a lot of black pentax, but I've never come across one with such glossy paint work. Will be sending this S3 away for a CLA soon. I believe the shutter curtains might need replacing.

Did anyone around here grab a VERY beat-up MZ-S with BG10 from Roberts Camera recently?? You beat me! (I was looking for a backup though, so I suppose it's fair since I've got one already - sans BG10 however)

5$ thrift store find, banged up filter ring but the glass looks stellar. It's suprisingly one of the best made lenses I have ever handled. It feels like a million dollars. I can't wait to borrow my girlfriend's adapter and guess I will have to break down and buy a 40-50$ one myself. I'm not sure if it's worth trying to get the camera going or not, it's also a tank.

When I compared images from a Mamiya Sekor f1.4 normal lens to Super Takumar 50 f1.4, the ST lost. But the MS is larger, and just doesn't look right on a Spotmatic.

Nice, I used to shoot a lot of Ektachrome back in the 1990's, but in 135 format.

Post some pictures after you get it processed, hopefully the film was properly stored and holds up reasonably well.

Nice! I was literally looking for good deals on 120 Ektachrome 2 or 3 days ago. That was my dad's go-to (on 135 as Phil mentioned) and I've never shot it - would like to though.

I bought 5 rolls of this EPX a few years ago. I've shot two rolls so far and it's really nice film. It must have been well stored. It handles underexposure better than any other slide film that I've shot. I'll post a sample on the film shots thread.
