35mm 1.8, 85mm 1.7, 90mm 2.8 macro, an SRT 102, a stereo camera(so excited for that) and filters/tripods/straps. Still pinching myself.

One of those 35mm lenses is for sale in my area but it's 140 so I think I'll stick with my f/2.8 version. The 85/1.7 goes for crazy money.

Very nice find! Definitely one of those dream situations. I hope you enjoy them, and please post results somewhere when you shoot with them.

Picked up a Jupiter-12 35mm lens for my FED-2. Focus seems to be off: focusing to infinity on the lens barrel seems to be past infinity in the rangefinder. Might get it looked at, might just send it back... I want one for street photography, though.

You might want to check the alignment of the rangefinder coupler to the J-12. Many FED-2s need a little nudge to properly engage.

It does seem to maybe be some sort of alignment issue, but not sure how to adjust it. The camera has a recent CLA and the problem doesn't exist with the Industar.

Random Pentacon30/3.5 Shots Regarding Sharpness

QuoteOriginally posted by asharpe Quote
I had both the original Lydith and the newer Pentacon, and was very disappointed with edge sharpness of both (even on a crop sensor!) They didn't live up to the hype, unfortunately. I bought a Pentax Super Takumar 28/3.5 (M42), and it blew them both away. I donated both of the 30s to Goodwill. Someone will appreciate them, but they were not for me.

Shot with the Pentacon 30/3.5 and Sony ILCE-5000, seems pretty well for me.

You may have to bend the coupler arm. If you are not comfortable doing so, find a repair person who is. The rangefinder will probably need readjustment afterward. Mine was missing the RF cam on the lens completely and was riding up on the edge of the lens rear as the lens was mounted...scratched the paint off parts of the rear lens metal

Yeeks, that sounds dangerous. The issue here seems to be that the cam for the Jupiter seems smaller in diameter than the cam for the Industar.

Yes, something like that. My J-12 is new than yours (1982) and may be a different construction, but it works fine with both my Zorki 4K and Canon-P. It was only the FED-2 that had a coupler that did not properly seat.

That is really quite the early Pentax there. Enjoy once you get it back!

They were made from in 1958 and 1959 so quite a limited run. I'm looking forward to running some film through it.

Well, I'm glad you like it; that's all that's important. The center sharpness of both of these is fine, but even with your APS-C sensor, the upper right corners of both photographs are soft.

Very pretty. I have the silver version of that lens on an old H2. My Super Tac version 35/3.5 is brilliant, but I have not tried the pre-set. Post pictures when you get it back.
