I got a broken Super Color f2.8 in a box of stuff once and fell in love with the ergonomics.
I think this is the fourth one I've bought now, and the first that worked long enough to run film through it.
The others went in the 'free bin' at the local camera shop, though none stayed there long...
In this case, the *1.9 and another f2.8 were both up on Goodwill.
The f2.8 went first and I lost ($17 or so plus shipping)
I expected the *1.9 to go for more, but nobody else bid, so I got it for $14 (plus shipping)
I think the ones labelled with *1.9 instead of f1.9 have the Copal shutter, which is probably why this one still works, based on the others.
I've run a test roll of Fuji 200 through it and liked the results so much I splurged on some Ektar that's in it now.
It has a terrific feel, decent focusing window, shutter and aperture where you expect them (on a rangefinder) and a good lens.
Lens is supposedly a six-element 45mm (well, I know it's a 45...), with an irritating 43mm front thread.
It has decent bokeh wide open, but the five-piece aperture makes for a weird shape stopped down.
It also has a handy color/B&W reminder on the film speed indicator (no meter)
