I sewed up my own camera case for my dslr. That sewing machine doesn't do round things well at all but it gets the job done. I have plans for a similar one for my Mamiya 7II.

Nice job Tuco, is that a 201 in the background by chance?

Thanks. I don't know what model it is. It doesn't say anywhere on it. I picked it up at a garage sale many years ago for $35USD and fixed it up.

Even better! I have padding and flexible plastic sheets in the material stack up. I put a carpet needle in the machine and at some points had to rotate the machine by hand to power my way through the thick stack up.

How are you liking that "grippy" (NOT) covering on your FED? My Zorki 4k has that stuff.

Thank-you, my H2 is rather special with its lovely Auto Tak but my favourite is without doubt my SV with the meter removed.

I don't mind it. The camera will always be in the case whenever in use so it isn't a problem.
I like the stuff on mine better than the older FED 3Bs. I wish it was cleaner and not coming off

It's hard to beat an SV!

Here's mine current SV.

At first I couldn't decide where to post this. It's a new aquistion, so it fit's here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/general-talk/99051-your-latest-acquisition.html. But I could just as well introduce it here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-film-slr-discussion/57517-introduc...lm-pentax.html. After some thought, I realized the items in this photo represent the most coveted photography related items I own. Therefore, this thread won out. This was shot with a Optio H90 P&S. Otherwise, I was gonna have to wait two weeks for developing via mail order.

Here's my new SMC 400/5.6 (purchased from member grahame). capped with my KX and mounted on my also-new tripod

Last edited by hollywoodfred; 03-11-2013 at 05:39 PM. Reason: wrong identification of the P&S.
