I'd never heard of the Kalimar before. It looks like a cool camera.

Love the fast Ms. I have the 50 and 85 but not the 35 or the also fast 28 2 . I wonder why they didn't make an M 50 1.2.? That lens is easy to imagine.

Exactly. The A 50/1.2 was also available well into the F and FA era.

I have a copy of that Kodak Anastigmat 7 1/2" f/4.5 on my quarter-plate Graflex. It gives very good results.

My Pentax Spotmatic II. I bought it a few months ago from eBay for 1 € (plus shipping costs). It included a hard case with strap, batteries and instruction manuals. The lens is a Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 I got from my father in law.

Good on you! May you make many happy photos together. That 135mm, plus the case, is lovely, and as you will know, very cute.

Yes! It's nice and small ... one has to collapse the lens to infinity for it to fit into the case ... the 135 is also quite small and also came with a Hoya 46mm UV filter ... lucky me , Salut, J

Thanks utak ... all of your Auto-Tak 55/2.2 captures inspired me to hunt one of these down ... and the second that I won off eBay arrived yesterday ... it's the one with the black pre-set ring ...
