Thank you Agnostic. You have a nice collection of rangefinders. One thing puzzles me, how do you define fov when you switch lenses.
Cheers
The Retina IIIs has frame lines for all the lenses from 35mm to 135mm which come up in the viewfinder when you switch lenses. The 28mm needs an accesory finder though.

Minor Minolta Madness ... more to come later ...

Picked this up off the French site "Le bon coin" - Appareil photo minolta x700 +accessoires Collection Deux-S

Paid only 40 total since the X-700 was film advance lever jammed, but got new batteries and fiddled a bit and "bingo" all works AOK ... nice haul despite the 3 hour around trip to pick it all up ... long story; it's was her deceased father's gear and most is just "mint" ... plus a cool "retro" case included ... happy camper, J

Steve
Bonjour Steve,

Oui, forgot to mention that the AD2 is a "02B" (28/2.5) with rectangular stranded case, all papers and a "Posso" brand filter. The adapter is a "M/MD" (?) with the numbered " f " scale visible in the X-700 viewfinder. Pretty cool ... this is my first X-700 and like it a lot at first impression.

If it had been a "01B" (24/2.5), I would have been more "ecstatic", so to speak, since I do not have that one (yet), although I have a "01BB" ... I am going to sell the lesser quality of my two 02B's "naked" with out a case (if some here wants it, let me know) ... maybe on French evilBay; that one sale may pay of for everything ... except for some diesel fuel and my off-day morning, but I take that deal, any day ... it was a nice drive in the countryside ... lots of straight lines, but OK & easy !

Salut, J

An exploded view of my 500C/M. It took hours to suspend the parts by threads and align them. I cloned them out in post

Very cool! Surely this an image you could sell, if there isn't infringement of some kind. Anyway, awesome pic.

A brilliant follow-up to the previous suspended shots!

Since your previous post, I too have been experimenting with suspending and trying to get some interesting perspectives that are otherwise not available.
