Yet another Spotomatic F to add to the bunch. I have the typical SMC Taks to go with it and will do a shot with them next.
Pretty camera, but what is in that silly little glass and how did you manage to spill some on the counter?

Tuco, love the composition on that Spotty. Cheers and bottoms up !

Here's a Konica 35mm rangefinder that I found on our local craigslist which I then picked up Saturday. It has a couple of (i hope minor) issues and I've just sent it off to Greg Weber in Nebraska for him to take a look at.

Can't wait to try it out as I'm hearing that the 48mm 2 lens is supposed to be pretty nice.

That's what happens when you swill too much whisky while taking pictures.

That was a ptretty good isnide joke - had to reach the K-3 thread to be inside. Should I use a cigar as a prop (or an intern)?

If any one have a black AP waiting for a new home to join in with my S, K and SV? Let me know!

A chrome AP

Is also not a bad camera. Shown with some pre-set accessories.

THAT is a camera!!! Beautiful, and yes, these are excellent, per people I trust.

My Pentax K-1000 with Non SMC A 28-80
Ah! That 28-80 zoom. I've got one myself which I've tucked away in a box somewhere. I see yours have lost the rubber on the zoom ring. Mine lacks the rubber on the focusing ring. The focusing ring is in fact so loose one can actually see the image moving in the viewfinder. At the time I used it, I thought it was just bad build quality, but now, knowing about fancy schmancy IS and SR and you-know-what, I suspect it to be some early, secret, attempt on a manual image stabilisation. Being an utter amateur, I can't believe I'll ever acquire the technique to exploit it, but I'm sure one of you professionals have enough "shooting time" to be able to get the hang of it, so if anyone is interested in checking it out, just PM me, and I'll send it to you, free of charge!

Or perhaps a chrome version S, K and SV to join your chrome AP . . .

You certainly can't go wrong either way!

The silver Nikon F Photomic belonged to my grandfather. This very camera was the first Nikon I ever used, in about 1981 (I owned a Pentax MV at the time). This camera has been in my possession since the late 1990s. It has its original Nikkor 50mm f2 attached.

The black Nikon F was recently received from a colleague, also with its original Nikkor 50mm f2.

Both are 1971 models, assembled 2827 units apart - reunited after 41 years...

Do you have any shots posted from either of those configurations to check out?

Hey, this just arrived today so yes...

tilt to put focus along the bird

tilted the other way

With the dogs, M 50/1.4 wide open (or maybe f/2) tilted to try to get both faces in focus
