You actually knew the artist? I had that printed up on my bedroom wall for the longest time, since in 2001 i was newly in college, with no real concept of copyrights.
She was an acquaintance. Eliza Gauger, a sweet young girl from Bellingham, Washington. We shared a common interest in graphic arts, and the use of Photoshop and Corel to create artistic works. She was attending the university there. It doesn't surprise me that her work was not copy protected, she was young and more focused on her sexuality than anything else.

Somewhere I have copies of some of her other work, very good stuff.

I haven't heard from her in years.

I see that Eliza has a web presence now.

Note: Some of her work will be NSFW!

In 2001 a girl I know drew this. A nice likeness I think.
That picture just reminds me of epidemic of teen pregnancies and deadbeat dads this county is contending with

Yes, there is, and always has been an issue with that stuff.

But how do we get from a patriotic depiction to the parasitic leeches in our world?

{Don't answer, we already are treading in the deep political waters!}

Maybe the guy is gonna get a good camera, one with Pentax on the front!

I came very close to being a Minolta shooter when I got my Hocir S2RX. If I had more money to spend at that time that is where I would be today.

So in spite of some dissent among the Pentaxians over Hocir, I am hopelessly locked into the Pentax fold.

Pick up two enlarger lens at the Aulney swap meet ... 20€ each (average for the f4) ... the f2.8 had some front element fungus growth, thus a lower price.

Just finished pulling apart the f2.8 and it cleaned up quite nicely ... soon to be used, hopefully. Salut, J (x-post)

One really neat thing about photography is the universal nature of it. Looking over the shots of the swap meet prove that Jean.

And I see your work mat is made in the USA!

And people whine that nothing is made here anymore.

Phtt!
