The first image of that folder. What is that wire frame next to the lens used for?
It is the 'viewfinder', or as close as that camera has to one.

Well, yes, it's the sports finder. There's also a brilliant reflex finder on the nose, and there's a dark slide and ground glass in the back. The front rises and shifts but does not tilt.

The other strange thing is the aperture ring on your Super-Tak. Ever notice that it turns the "wrong" direction?

Steve
Steve, I think they are all of my particular camera, as I have posted in a few times in various places to see if anyone had heard of another (and because its cool). No one, not even Gerjan van Oosten, had heard of another such copy. Since it is a stamped part, I would have thought there were more, but then again with such an obvious error perhaps we should say its surprising it ever was sold.

Rats! I go 2 days without visiting PF, and Colton beats me to posting this! All right, you've done the hood-up pic; here's hood down. (Old pic; those of you also frequenting RFF have probably seen it before.) Looks like Colton and I have same vintage, same condition S2 units (not 100% perfect, but nice, with little bits of scuffing from good use). I have not had mine out to shoot since last year, which sucks. (Although I did come into an unexpected Rolleiflex in the meantime, so that mostly explains it.)

What kind of porn does it count as when someone left their load behind when you bought it?

That's not porn, that's just someone having exposed themselves...
