Good idea. I have a few. These have been posted before on RFF, but I think maybe not here.

Canon P and Voigtländer Skopar. Shot with a Promatic Compact R (a what? -- it's a rebadged sh!te Petri) but sporting a 50/1.4 Super Tak; on HP5+)

Bronica S2 with Nikkor 50/3.5 and iced Americano. Shot with Rolleiflex E (Planar 2.8); on Delta 100 Pro

Well that's a relief. If I start Oly I not only have an entire new universe of LBA opportunities, I also have to talk to my brother. Thankfully he got took the F1 system when my father died so I only have to deal with Pentax.

K-mount mixed

Hi all.

Here are some of my gear:
A newly purchased MX with an oldie of mine: Auto Chinon multi-coated 50/1.7. I've been using this lens since 1990! It's quite sharp (and cheap!)

Because my old Chinon CE-4 had a stuck mirror issue, I had to by another one. I got it with the winder: PW-530, and the lens: Tokina SZ-X 28-200/3.5-5.3. In between i stuck my Panagor Auto Tele Converter 2x. Everything works!

I bought one as an Auto Sears 50/1.7 for $5 ($10 after shipping). In my opinion it was just as good as the M50/1.7, so I sold the one I had at the time. I have the Sears on my K1000 now.

The P is pretty. I'm considering one as a backup to my M2. The M2's trailing shutter curtain looks like the einstein planetarium when lit from the back so it needs to go in soon, and the P would keep me from having no interchangeable-lens rangefinders to shoot.

Feeding two systems has proven to be my undoing on multiple occasions. I try to stick to Pentax for 35mm SLRs. I like them the best and the lens selection is, overall, the best, especially the legacy stuff. I've had:

Canon FD system (AE-1, 28, 50, long zoom)
Konica AR (Started with a 400/5.6 lens from a thrift shop, ballooned to 3 camera bodies (TC, T3, T) and like 6 lenses (57/1.4, 40/1.8, a 28, a 135...))
Minolta MD (SRT 101 found at yard sale, vivitar 28/2.5, Minolta 50/1.8. Nice setup. Sold to a friend's sister.) I currently have an XG-M and 50/1.4 I'm looking at selling.
Olympus OM (Current...100/2.8 and 35/2.8, some zooms, OM-1 and OM-10)

All I've come away with from each system is that:

A. I like pentax better

and

B. I don't like buying stuff twice.

No other 35 SLR system has given me a really compelling reason to have two setups. 4x5/8x10, Medium Format and 35mm RF is a different story

The proud blemishes of cameras that did not live their entire lives in camera bags. I love the black MX.

Is Mark Hama still servicing cameras? I have a Yashica Lynx that needs attention!

He is. He's good, but I usually send Yashica 35mm Rangefinders to Russ Sisco. He's done 4 of them for me now and they're all excellent!

Well well. I was going to ask Eric what to do with my Electro 35 - but now I know!

Yes indeed. This one was a Goodwill find ( like most of my gear ) and needed a lot of attention. Winder was stuck, shutter was jammed, and the taking lens was murky. I got it back in two weeks like it was new. My first professional CLA and boy oh boy it was worth it.

One more Yashica. Electro 35 GT with the little guys. Oly 35RC and Ricoh 500 GX with a G front plate.

Fuji GA645i. I think I shot with this camera the most. It was my gateway medium format camera and I swore I would never shoot 35mm again....well I was wrong of course.

Nice set, like the Fuji 645!

The Canon P is a beautiful rangefinder. So clean and simple. And the Skopar is one of my favorite looking lenses. Nice combo there.

I've sold some gear that I don't use anymore to fund this lens. I used black thread to suspend it for the shot.
