My sympathies Nesster. We lost our daughter almost two years ago. Some things are never really "over."

Yeah, that is a centerfold, or rather a "Farah" poster.

Furthermore, the 'READ ME' of the Pentax Film SLR Discussion states 'Only post about Pentax film SLRs in this section!' so you can take your Nikon and your Fujica and use them to inflate your damaged ego in some other forum.
This thread is specifically open to all "gear" of all persuasions. Many (most?) of us that shoot film have a fairly broad palate in regards to brand. I have bodies from ten (I think) different makers.

I am pretty much a Pentax guy when it comes to SLRs, but with Non-SLR cameras my collection runs the gamut: Polaroid, Mamiya, Yashica, Leica, Nikon (Yes, I have one Nikon...an SP Rangefinder), Olympus, Kodak, Sony (I have two Sony digitals), Canon (I have two point and shoot Canons and a Canon lens for the Leica)

The only reason I don't have non-Pentax SLR systems, really, is that I'm too poor to feed two separate 35mm SLR lens systems.

Oh, here's some shots of my Pentax LX with all the goodies: Winder LX, FB-1 System Finder with FC-1 Action Eyepiece, and Grip A (shaped by previous owner.) Shown in the first shot with Pentax A 50mm f/1.7 and FA 35mm f/2.

I just love this Yashica in near perfect condition, with working light-meter and original case and strap.
and then:

Pentax SV and 35mm f3.5 back from service.

The FC-1 is just cool. Unfortunately it makes the camera about as comfortable to carry around as a brick with a spiked collar on it. The weight is pretty bad but the shape is even worse. It hangs off the back quite far.

However, for making it easy to shoot the LX, especially with its switchability from eye level to waist level, it's just awesome.

Use the prism finder if it's going to hang around your neck for most of the day. if you're going to be holding and shooting it, the FC-1 combo is king.

Here are few photos of non-Pentax gear.

Contax D ... first family of modern SLR with horizontal focal plane shutter, m42 mount, and pentaprism. (1949)

Rolleifex (original) ... first modern production model TLR. (1929)
