Slow thrift store week ... only a great condition Agfa Silette-LK with a Color-Agnar 45/2.8 with case and the original registration card (but no date on the card?) The Agfa was bought in Poitiers, but the B&M store is long gone ... Salut, J

My 1930's Voigtlander 'AVUS' 9x12 cm I was given by an Austrian lecturer when I was a Photographer at University College London.
It has a 135mm f4.5 'Skopar' lens in a Compur shutter and takes glass plates or cut film -- I have used it with both. I also have two 'RADA' 120 rollfilm backs for it and still have some outdated 9x12cm ORWO NP20 cut film sheets .

Here is a result on 9x12cm Kodak plus-X cut film, scanned from a 10x8" darkroom print.

Brownie Love...

Since this thread has strayed from the forum topic (SLR), here's a couple of Brownies from my heirloom collection:

Still trying to dig up my first camera: a 1940s black plastic Baby Brownie (127) with braided strap.

Shows that the lenses of old were quite capable of supporting a good photographer.

You may have noticed that this thread was dedicated to gear p0rn in general and not just SLR gear. I have posted photos of all sorts of cameras as well as a few tripods and such.

Steve, I must grudgingly admit that Tom B is correct based on what forum the thread is located in. Note the breadcrumbs at the top of your browser page: "PentaxForums.com → Pentax SLR Cameras → Pentax Film SLR Discussion → Gear P0rn - post it if you got it." In fact by that measure we should post only Pentax SLRs. Anyway that location in the SLR taxonomy is easy to forget, especially for those of us who might happen to have daily email notification set up on this thread and might thereby happen to be coming in by clicking a link in such mail (rather than navigating in top-down through the forums). I write "grudgingly" above not because I have anything against Tom, but because if we did the technically right thing that his observation would indicate, and posted only Pentax SLRs, we would have less gear pr0n. And I'd be in trouble for having posted a Speed Graphic, a Rolleiflex, or whichever other of my non-Pentax non-SLRs I've posted.

The film SLR section has been pretty loose since I have have been active here. Note that the photo threads are open to all film photography by the OPs. The gear p0rn thread exists for cameras other than Pentax (there is an older Pentax-only thread).
