As I mentioned, it is the larger 625PX battery it uses. It came with mine, and may be as old as the camera. Since the camera was hardly used, it may well be the original mercury battery. It still works. Try a 1.5v A76 equivalent just to see if the lightmeter responds. You may need to pack it to fit.
OK, great .. I will give it a try ... Merci, J

Looks like a great set, shame about the 20mm lens being damaged.

Not sure if it's appropriate to post someone else's gear - and for sale gear at that here.......but I greatly enjoyed looking at this collection after I ran across the link on Craigslist.

Great looking gear ! I'm going to a expo/swap meet on Sunday morning in Tours (about 70 miles north of Poitiers), so I will take some snaps for all ... never been to this show, so do not know what to expect ... Salut, J

That is one of the cleanest Zorks I have seen.

It's interesting to see the different character compared to my one with more "Patina"
Mine looks like it's been through a war (for all I know it has....)

I'm curious, on my one the focus ring is quite stiff, if I'm too quick with focussing it can start to uncrew the lens. Is your example the same? (assuming yours is all working how it should, the condition would suggest yes)

Kodak Retina IIa, type 150. 1939-1941. Just over 5000 pieces made. This one has serial number 319433K. This early number should place it in around 1939. Version with English text on the iris depth scale at the bottom.

Sorry, gotta share this one as an AD-2 addict ... new addition : 55BB + 01F + Nikon mount + case ... all in very good shape, but some very minor filaments in lens that I do not think will effect the IQ ... got a good deal on it and I'm a happy camper, J (Xpost)

Nice!
I owned 2 of those in 2009. They are quite good. I sold both because they're too hard for me to use.

Here's one of my better images from that lens.
