It was about "half" average market value that I have been tracking and estimating here and there ... but, I think that the 70-210 had some issues, because he was quite "squirrelly" over the phone when I started to ask a few pointed questions ... maybe he didn't like my accent, etc., or the fact that I'm American, who knows.
The talks never got anywhere near to being a "done deal" ... also, I was PayPal "broke" at that moment, too ... which didn't help with the situation. Besides, as I told myself in "auto-conciliation", the 70-210 could not be Leitax converted to PK fit (like an Olympus 70-210) ... I emailed Leitax and they indicated that it would be like any other OM to PK kit modification ... later they posted this, see:
Angenieux 70-210/3.5 ...
I almost had an Olympus OM mount 35-70 (without box, etc.) to possibly be converted, but sold it as is ... glad that I found a good PK one. J
