Thought I would show you my 'Braun Hobby' unit from the late 1950's-'60's that I use to take many of my ;Indoor Photos' . They came out in the 1950's and were used by all the newspaper photographers -- when you see the Beatles coming down the steps of the Aircraft in USA there are all the news snappers with their ROLLEIS and the black Braun Hobby units with the strap over their shoulders ! My FIRST Braun was bought in the Canadian Maple Leaf Store in Iserlohn, Germany in 1957 when I was there in the British Military Hospital as a Path Lab Technician-- it cost £ 14-00 when in England with all the taxes it cost £ 39-00 ! It had 'lead-acid ' wet-cell accumulators and could also be run off the mains .. I wore out the cells then they were all discontinued BUT I could still run it off the mains indoors. Then many years later I got a second flash head , then I was GIVEN some more Braun units and saved some from being DUMPED by a Photographer I was visiting. There are differences in all the power packs I have when they are opened up -- small improvements by the Germans. The flash duration is 1/1000th second and when more than one head is plugged in of course the power is shared.

"Anti-p0rn" x-post here ...

Maybe 5 € well spent at the thrift store this weekend ... a Pentax "dynamic duo" and both worked when I put batteries in them, plus a dummy test roll ...

- a Pentax Zoom 60 Marco AF with case (2 €)
- a Pentax Zoom 90-WR AF with case and guides (see "3" marked for price of 3 €) ... do not know if the Infrared Remote Control works, because I do not have a test battery ... 3 volt.

Maybe I will shoot some B&W with these one day for fun, but for now, into the "collection chest" ... Salut, J

... and Polaroids back at ya ... all thrift store ....

Oh NOOOO, I just bought ANOTHER P3 off ebay!
This shot is my P3n, which is fitted with a Tamron 28-200 and loaded with 400 b/w. It will be for sale (cheap, very cheap), as soon as I finish this roll.

The New P3 will also be for sale also very cheap, I only bought it because it came with lenses I wanted, f:1.7 50mm A lens and a 35-70 Pentax A, and a Sears 70-210 A. Pentax P3 35mm SLR Film Camera with Tripod and 2 Extra Lens Bag and Flash | eBay
I have a 50mm A f:2 but wanted another A lens and the short zoom A lens.

I have the P30t also, which I am keeping.

I started in the late 70's with an MX, which I had to sell, and then a P30t which I also had to sell.
Now I have replaced the MX and P30t from ebay.

I should get my stuff together and get some nice shots of the stuff I have, LOL, it's a BIG picture.

Talking about the Pentax-M 40mm f:2.8 that k2 up there has, I saw a very well taken care of copy with both caps for $69. Is that too much?

Sorry for the off topic.

Houston we have a (lack of a) problem. The family just grows... Even when some kids leave the nest and go off to college for new adventures, new babies arrive.

Yes, indeed. And that combo (mx with winder grip plus the 77) is one of the most satisfying I've ever shot with.
